When considering your legal requirements to mitigate risks from Legionnaires disease, scalding and electrical safety, there are a great many Laws, Acts, Regulations, Approved Codes of Practices, and Health & Safety Guidelines which you are expected to adhere to. The following lists are not exhaustive, but are enough to set you on the path towards an improved safety culture.
AquaTest Wales have a strong desire not only to provide excellent service, but to improve safety through improved understanding.
We urge all Owner/Operators and Duty Holders to obtain, read and understand the following relavent documents. Please remember that generally speaking, if you violate a Law, Act or Regulation, you may find it difficult to avoid serious prosecution. If you choose not to follow an ACoP or HSE guidance document, you must prove why you are not following them, and how you are doing better.
